The AIMS Education Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy.

Information we collect and how it is used.

When placing an order, subscription, or workshop registration via our web site we collect the following information:
- name
- e-mail address
- billing address
- shipping address
- credit card number
- expiration date
This information is used to process and fulfill your order, subscription, or registration and to notify you of their status. The name and address information is also added to our Mailing List, which enables us to send you periodic information and catalogs. You may request to be taken off the Mailing List by sending a request to: AIMS.

AIMS may also collect information volunteered by our visitors via online surveys, site registrations, comments and suggestions, information requests, etcetera. The information collected is used only in the following manners:
- for internal review only
- to improve our web site's content and layout
- to customize web site layout/content for each visitor
- to help us improve our programs and products
Absolutely none of the information volunteered will ever be shared with other organizations for any purpose.

There may be areas on the AIMS web site where information provided is open to public inspection (e.g, conferencing area). Use these areas knowing that they are public.

The AIMS web servers also log certain bits of aggregate information such as:
- domain name
- browser being used
- site usage
This information is used solely for web site administration. It is not shared.

How does AIMS protect customer information?

When you place an order we offer the use of a secure server. When in use, all information sent between your web browser and our Secure server is encrypted during transfer. Credit card information is not stored on AIMS web servers.

What about browser "Cookies"?

At present the AIMS web site makes limited use of cookies. The cookies set by our web site are used for session tracking in our online forums, or to control online specials. Private data is not used in our cookies.

Information Disclosure

The AIMS Education Foundation does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others for any reason whatsoever. All personal information you provide us is kept strictly confidential and used only for its intended purposes. (See above.)
